No licence is required. Experience is a different question. The first thirty minutes are practice on easy, flat ground with your guide beside you, but the second half is genuine forest track — hills, ruts and curves — so we recommend this ride for people who are already confident at the wheel. Tell us when you book if it is your first time: your guide will stay with you, and you are welcome to stay on the gentler sections for the whole hour instead.

Yes — the standard tour gives you one quad per two guests, and you swap the driving between you so you both get a turn at the wheel and a turn enjoying the view. If you would rather not share, add a private quad for $35 in the booking form. A group of three is given two quads, so nobody is ever left standing, and a solo traveller has a quad entirely to themselves.

Children are welcome on the day out. For the ride itself, from 13 years old they can drive a quad themselves — the guide simply keeps the pace slower for them. Under 13 they ride as passengers, which is a safety rule rather than a preference. Put their ages in the notes when you book and we will confirm what works for your family.

Light rain is not a reason to cancel — the trails are made for mud and most guests enjoy it more. If the weather turns genuinely unsafe, we will contact you before your pickup and offer you a different date or a full refund. We would rather move your day than run a ride we are not happy with.

Closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dusty — forest trails do exactly what you would expect. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a swimsuit if you are travelling in summer, since the pool is free to use. Helmets and all the safety gear are provided. A plastic bag for the dusty layer on the drive home is a small thing that guests are always glad of.

Not in the base price. The tour is $80 per person without lunch and $92 per person with the Vietnamese hotpot, so you choose. Bottled water is included either way. If you have allergies or eat vegetarian, tell us in the form and the kitchen will work around it.

A professional drone operator follows your ride and films the route from above — the shots you simply cannot take from the driver’s seat. The service is $32 for the booking, not per person, so a couple or a group shares one drone. Your guide will arrange how the files reach you on the day; if you need them by a particular date, say so in the notes.

Solo travellers are very welcome, but because the route is long and the car, the guide and the day run privately for you, a solo booking is charged as two people. In return you get the whole vehicle, the guide’s full attention and a quad entirely to yourself for the full hour — no sharing and no swapping.

One: a $10 per person surcharge on Vietnamese public holidays — New Year, Tết, Liberation Day (30 April), International Workers’ Day (1 May) and National Day (2 September). The booking form flags it automatically as soon as you pick one of those dates, so you never find it at the end. Everything else on this page is the price you pay.

A comfortable, air-conditioned private car or van, sized to your group and included in the price — a 7-seater suits most bookings and is very well matched to this route. It is yours for the day, both ways, with the same driver, so you can leave bags in it while you ride.
