Open the bucket and they come to you. Shaded, unhurried, and usually the part nobody wants to leave.
Feed included — your guide collects it
A coffee or a smoothie at a table on the line, then the whole street stands up and steps back. Your guide picks the cafe and moves you well before the train is in sight.

And the grounds in between. A flower garden with a red bridge, an old yellow car on the grass — ten minutes, no extra cost, and where most of the keepers get taken.

Yes — because we do not leave it to chance. The Hanoi line runs to a published schedule, so we build your afternoon backwards from a passing time and get you seated with a margin. That is the whole reason the last stop is the fixed point of the day and everything else flexes around it. You have a 100% chance of seeing the train at the scheduled time.
It is safe when it is done properly, and doing it properly is what your guide is for. Your guide picks the cafe, seats you on the side the staff want people on, and moves everyone back well before the train is in sight — the cafes have been doing this for years and they run it tightly. Hold small children during the passing; that is the only rule that really matters.
Your $40 includes two slide rides per person, which is usually exactly as many as people want. If you would like more, they are inexpensive and bought on the spot — tell your guide and they will sort the tickets for you rather than leaving you at the window.
Almost all of them. The slide and the animals are built for children, the pace is gentle enough for grandparents, and there is no walking or hiking anywhere in the day. Very small children ride the slide with an adult.
Pricing follows age: under 2 free, 2–5 at $32 (80% of the rate), 6 and over at the full $40. Two small parties are priced as a whole instead of head by head — one adult on their own is $68, and one adult with one child aged 2–5 is $74. Put everyone’s ages in the notes and your guide will confirm it all when they reply.
Sheep, rabbits, horses, peacocks and ostriches are the ones people come for, and the feeding experience covers them. It is a living garden rather than an exhibit, so exactly which animals are out and in reach on the day varies a little — but the sheep and the rabbits are always the easiest to get close to, and the ostriches are always the surprise.
Meals are not — this is a half-day tour built to sit either side of a meal rather than around one. Drinks are: a bottle of water each, and a coffee or a smoothie each on Train Street. Anything beyond that — a beer, a second round — is yours. If you would like to stop somewhere to eat, say so in the notes and your guide will suggest somewhere good rather than somewhere convenient.
Light rain does not stop the day — the animals do not mind and Train Street is half undercover. Heavy rain closes the slide, and in that case we will contact you before pickup and offer you a different date or a full refund. We would rather move your half-day than run two-thirds of it in a downpour.
Usually, yes. Pickup and drop-off inside the Old Quarter is included; if you are staying in Tay Ho, Ba Dinh or further out, put your hotel in the notes and we will confirm whether it works and whether there is any difference in price before you commit to anything.
Nothing is charged when you send the form — it is a request, not a checkout. You choose how to settle: on the tour with your guide, in cash or by transfer, with no service fee; or online after we confirm, which carries a 15% service fee. There is nothing to pay in advance either way. We only ever confirm bookings from WhatsApp +84 336 515 830; please never pay or click a link sent from any other number.
