A three-star hotel of twenty-three rooms on Yen Thai, the lane that runs off Hang Gai — five minutes on foot to Hoan Kiem Lake and about the same to St Joseph’s Cathedral, with the silk shops of Hang Gai between the two. A “home away from home”

- I loved everything about this hotel. Perfect location, great value for money, very comfy bed and great shower pressure. The rooms are very quiet as it is on a side street away from the main hustle and bustle. I liked it so much I stayed an extra few days and used it as a home base for day trips. Jessica was so lovely and very helpful with her advice and organisation for my travel, and Mai and her kitchen team were also wonderful.

- Nothing — it was perfect for what I needed. One tip: if you are travelling as two, check the size of the room. Mine was on the smaller side, but perfect for just me.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage. Sehr schönes Bad (mit funktionaler Trennwand beim Duschen). Gemütliches Bett. Sehr nettes Personal — besonders Mai vom Frühstücksservice möchte ich hervorheben, sie ist sehr kommunikativ und aufmerksam. Morgens war es etwas laut, weil das Zimmer nicht schallisoliert ist; der Geruch im Zimmer war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Very kind staff — Mai on breakfast service especially, who is communicative and attentive. Mornings were a little loud: our room was not soundproofed, so we heard a child crying across the corridor and the cleaning staff chatting next door. The smell in the room took some getting used to — very fruity, perhaps a room spray.
